I am a wheelchair user, how can I find an accessible route?
On the website
When searching for an itinerary, click on "Accessibility" and check the option "Find routes suitable for wheelchair travelers".
In Paris, all bus lines are declared accessible, which means that all vehicles have pallets and that at least 70% of the stops are up to standard. The route search on the Île-de-France Mobilités website or app does not yet identify bus stops that are not up to standard. We invite you to consult the route maps to ensure that the stops on your route are accessible.
The tram lines are 100% accessible, with low-floor vehicles and on the same level as the platform. Outside Paris, the network of accessible bus lines is becoming less important. It is the rail network that offers the most travel alternatives, including the possibility of benefiting from an assistance service at the station.
The route finder combines all these possibilities and offers suitable routes for wheelchair travellers. As the network is not yet fully accessible, you will find fewer route suggestions than in a traditional search.
On the mobile app
On the page with the results of your route search, it is possible to select the "wheelchair traveller" option in the settings at the top right of the screen.
Information about the accessibility of your ride is also available at the bottom of each itinerary page, as well as a contact number available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week except May 1st.
