Preamble


This document presents the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use of "Exit service by credit card validation"

The use of this exit service is subject to the full, complete and unreserved acceptance by the user of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use.

This exit service by credit card validation, created by Île-de-France Mobilités, is managed by the Kéolis Transporter in the name and on behalf of Île-de-France Mobilités.

1. Definition

The name "User" indicates the person using the Exit Service by credit card validation.

The term "Carrier" refers to the company that has entered into a contract with Île-de-France Mobilités for the operation of passenger transport lines.

The term "medium" refers to any contactless payment method (physical card, smartphone or connected object) equipped with NFC technology and allowing a payment to be made by bringing the device close to a compatible terminal, without inserting or entering the code.

In the context of this service, the bank support is used exclusively as a validation medium for the exit service at Orly station. It is both a means of payment and a validation medium.

Media bearing one of the following brands is accepted: CB,© Visa©, Mastercard©.

 

2. Use

2.1. The Exit Service by credit card validation only allows you to leave the airport station in which the service is installed when the user does not have a ticket allowing the opening of the gates.

It is one of the ways for users to get out of the transport right-of-way of the station or station. It is intended for users who have entered with a ticket that is not accepted at the exit.

2.2. The Exit Service by credit card validation is not a ticket for travel on the Ile-de-France Mobilités network. The validation of the outgoing bank support does not constitute transport validation and cannot be used as proof of a trip.

2.3. The Credit Card Validation Exit Service does not allow connections on other lines.

2.4. Trips to and from the same line and interruptions to another metro on the same line are not allowed with this exit service.

 

3. Pricing

3.1. The pricing of the Exit Service by credit card validation is set by Île-de-France Mobilités. It can be consulted:

  • on the website iledefrance-mobilites.fr
  • on posters in transport places
  • on the Île-de-France Mobilités fare guide

3.2. The Exit Service by credit card validation is available individually, at a single rate (full price) applicable regardless of the ticket used for entry.

3.3. It is possible to travel with several people with the same banking support (up to 5 people). In this case, it is necessary to validate as many times as the number of passengers during the same passage.

4. Purchase and Loading

4.1. The price of the Exit Service by credit card validation is payable in cash at the time of purchase. The corresponding payment is automatically debited from the bank to which the user's bank card is attached as part of a retrospective payment made within an indicative period of D+1 or D+2 (depending on the traveller's bank).

4.3. Contactless credit card purchase

4.3.1. The purchase of the Exit Service by credit card validation is obtained by presenting the bank support (physical bank card, smartphone or NFC connected object) to the payment terminal placed on the exit gate, identifiable by the contactless acceptance logo as well as the accepted payment marks.
For these contactless payment methods, it is necessary that the "contactless" option is activated. Failing this, it is recommended that the User contact their banking institution to set it up. It should be noted that some bank cards have a daily limit in the number of transactions that can be carried out without contact.

If the validator screen shows a checkmark on a green background, the passage is validated.

4.3.2. Proof of purchase is available on the https://www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/demarches-en-ligne/justificatifs-achats-cb website. It is necessary to create an account by entering at least an email address. The card number used by the validator(s) at the exit is requested to access the history and the corresponding payment receipts. 4.3.3. Creation of a user account by the Traveller

The User who wishes to consult his payments, retrieve proof of payment or use of the service, manage the credit card medium(s) associated with his account, manage his account (creation, recovery or change of password, consultation and update of his data) must create a user account.


 5. Validation

5.1. The Use of the Exit Service by credit card validation does not contain a transport ticket, the validation is done by presenting the bank support in front of the target for payment on the validation equipment identifiable with the contactless acceptance logo as well as accepted payment card marks, before each passage through the exit gate of Orly station.

5.2. In the event of a multi-person transfer with a single banking device, it is necessary to validate the bank support for each passenger, within the limit of 5 people (1 passage of the bank carrier in front of the target of the device is necessary for each additional passenger).

5.3. In the event of forgetting their contactless device, the user must, in order to be able to leave without being in violation, buy a transport ticket via the ticket machines or via the Île-de-France Mobilités application.

 

6. After-sales service

6.1. The Exit Service by credit card validation is not modifiable or refundable.

6.2. In the event of a malfunction of the contactless banking support or malfunction during contactless payment, the user must purchase a transport ticket accepted at the exit gates, via the vending machines or via the Île-de-France Mobilités application.

7. Information relating to personal data

The sale of the Exit Service service by credit card validation involves the processing of personal data that is strictly necessary for the completion of the transaction, the provision of supporting documents and the operation of the service.

In the specific case of the purchase of the service by presenting the bank support at the payment terminal in the station, an extranet is made available to the User to consult information relating to payments made and the history of validations on https://www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/demarches-en-ligne/justificatifs-achats-cb.
The creation of an account with an email address and the entry of the number of the bank vehicle used for the payment indicating the number (PAN), the expiry date and the CVV is necessary to allow the identification of the payment transaction concerned. This number is never kept in clear text and is immediately pseudonymized or tokenized. The CVV is used only at the time of adding the card-type banking medium to verify its validity and is never kept by Île-de-France Mobilités, the Carrier or the payment provider in accordance with the security requirements applicable to payments by credit card.

 

Île-de-France Mobilités is responsible for the processing of the data collected as part of the service.

The Carrier acts as a subcontractor for the operations necessary for the operation of the service and the management of transactions.

The payment service provider and the host of the extranet solution also act as subcontractors, each within the limits of the missions entrusted to them.

 

Why is the data collected?

Île-de-France Mobilités processes Personal Data in the context of:

• Management of the bank authorization request

• Contactless payment by credit card

• Generation and monitoring of bank transactions

• Provision of proof of payment and validation history via the extranet

• the management of the bank support used for validation at the exit at Orly.

 

What data is collected?

The personal data processed in connection with the service are as follows:

• the payment data necessary for the transaction (pseudonymised or tokenised card-type bank support number, expiry date, transaction ID)

• validation data (timestamp, location of the Orly station, exit gate identifier)

• identification data only in the event of the creation of a user account including the email address required for the creation of the account as well as any other data provided by the user (surname, first name, postal address).

• the data allowing the provision of supporting documents (history of validations associated with the banking medium used).

• data entered when adding a card-type banking medium (PAN, expiry date, CVV), the CVV never being kept

No sensitive banking information (visual cryptogram) is kept by the Carrier or by Île-de-France Mobilités.

The proof generated as part of this service only attests to the use of the bank support to pass through the exit equipment of the Orly station. It does not constitute proof of travel on the Île-de-France Mobilités network

 

Where does this data come from?

The data comes from:

• the use of banking support (card, smartphone or NFC connected object) on the validation equipment at the Orly station

• the creation of a user account dedicated to this service when the User chooses to create one to obtain proof.

 

Who can have access to this data?

The recipients of the personal data are:

• the Carrier for the operation of the service and the management of transactions

• the payment service provider for carrying out banking operations

• the host of the extranet solution

Transfer of data outside the European Union

No transfer of personal data is made outside the European Union. All data exchanges are encrypted.

How long is the data retained?

The data of the user account is kept for the duration of the account's existence. In the event of account deletion or prolonged inactivity, it is kept for a maximum of two (2) years from the user's last activity

Payment data is kept for the time necessary to manage the transaction and provide the supporting documents, i.e. up to thirteen (13) months.

Data relating to validations (date, time, location) are accessible in the receipts for four (4) months.

Beyond this period, only proof of payment remains available, up to thirteen (13) months.

Information on the inactive or expired banking device (card, smartphone or NFC connected object) is deleted after a maximum period of twenty-four (24) months, unless Île-de-France Mobilités decides to reduce this period.

Beyond these periods, the data is anonymised and kept solely for statistical purposes.

Safety standards

The contactless payment solution complies with the security standards applicable to banking transactions, in particular the PCI-DSS standard.

Île-de-France Mobilités and the Carrier shall implement all the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data processed.

What are the rights of users and how can they be exercised?

In accordance with the regulations in force, the User has a right of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation of processing and a right to the portability of his data, to define advance directives relating to the fate of his Data after his death as well as a right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

To exercise their rights, the User may contact:

8. Mediation

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use are subject to French law.

In the event of a dispute, and only after a written request has been sent to the customer service department concerned and whose response has not been satisfactory or in the absence of a response within one month, the customer may resort to mediation to settle the dispute amicably.

However, the parties to the dispute remain free to accept or refuse the use of mediation. The solution proposed by mediation is not binding on the parties.

The customer will find on the carriers' websites, with their agents or on the appropriate communication media the contact details and address of the website of the competent mediator to which the Carrier belongs, the customer may refer the matter to the mediator of his choice.

9. Changes to the general terms and conditions of sale and use

Île-de-France Mobilités and the Carrier reserve the right to change these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use. In this case, the new general terms and conditions will be brought to the attention of customers by means of publication in the collection of administrative acts of Île-de-France Mobilités, as well as by means of posting on the iledefrance-mobilites.fr and ratp.fr websites.
