The Ile-de-France Mobility Observatory (L’Observatoire de la mobilité en Île-de-France - Omnil) brings together players who provide data and expertise on mobility in Ile-de-France. This partnership observatory is run by Ile-de-France Mobilités.

The Ile-de-France Region, the departments of Ile-de-France, the City of Paris, DRIEA, RATP, SNCF, Optile, Société du Grand Paris, INSEE, CEREMA, Apur, IAU Ile-de-France, Airparif, Bruitparif, Arene and CCI Paris Ile-de-France have adhered to the Omnil charter.

Omnil is interested in the movement of people and goods in Ile-de-France, regardless of the mode of transport used.

Omnil’s missions

Omnil plays a central role in the evaluation of the Ile-de-France Urban Travel Plan by gathering the data necessary to monitor its implementation and its impact on mobility.

A new global transport survey, EGT H2020, a survey on the mobility of all Ile-de-France residents for all modes of transport, is being carried out under the leadership of Ile-de-France Mobilités, co-financed by national government, and in conjunction with Omnil's partners.

Statistics and publications

Omnil is the benchmark in terms of monitoring and analysing mobility at regional level.;

 Omnil provides detailed, regularly updated figures and issues publications presenting key mobility figures. Omnil also publishes thematic publications: mobility survey, survey of people with reduced mobility, thematic analyses (parking, carpooling, single fare tickets), passenger travel account. Omnil distributes publications produced by partners (Mobility, bicycles, cars, stations, etc.).
