Groups of middle and high school students accompanied by a teacher or groups of young people under the age of 16 travelling as part of an educational, cultural, sporting or social outing organised by an association, a local authority or a public establishment can travel on the Île-de-France rail networks (metro, train, RER, express tram) with half-fare tickets or Origin-Destination tickets, distributed exclusively at the counter in magnetic format.

The conditions to be met are as follows:

  • form a group of more than 10 young people (beyond this threshold of 10 young people, an additional accompanying person can benefit from the reduced rate)
  • Travelling together
  • be in possession of a "Declaration of honour - Youth group" duly completed, dated, stamped and signed by the group leader before the trip.

This discount is not valid on the bus and tram networks, nor on the rail services of the airports (Orlyval, Roissy by the RER B and Orly by the RER C).
Tickets sold in the magnetic format are not valid on the entire Île-de-France Mobilités network:
For the magnetic t+, the scope of use is limited to the intramural metro and RER area.
For Origin Destination tickets, the scope of use is limited to the route you choose for departure and arrival when purchasing at the ticket office.

Good to know:

Children from 4 to under 10 years old can travel in Île-de-France with half-fare tickets (single tickets, Orlyval tickets and Paris Visite pass).
