Buses in Île-de-France: give your opinion to develop the network!

From October 5 to December 31, contribute to the improvement of the network
Do you take the bus every day, once in a while or never? In any case, your opinion counts!
For nearly three months, Île-de-France Mobilités invites you to give your opinion on how to develop the bus network in Île-de-France on very concrete subjects: timetables and frequency of passages, speed and punctuality of journeys, stops and places served, comfort on board and at stops, safety and passenger information, etc.
To participate, simply log in to the contribution platform: you will be able to answer a questionnaire in a few minutes, share your ideas and react to the proposals of other participants. Your feedback will help to feed the reflections on the improvements to be made to the service in the coming years.
A bus network that continues to evolve
The approach is a continuation of the transformations undertaken since 2015. In less than ten years, the bus offer has increased by 20% and, beyond the offer, the entire network has been transformed to offer a service that is increasingly adapted to the needs of all passengers:
- A fleet of 10,500 buses and coaches being renewed, with the arrival of around 1,000 new vehicles each year, and 65 bus operations centres already converted to clean energy;
- On-demand transport increased ninefold between 2019 and 2025, with 88 services deployed over a large part of the outer suburbs;
- The development of express coaches, with a network expected to grow from 45 lines to nearly a hundred by 2030.
Very concrete topics for your bus journeys
Regular bus lines, Car Express, night buses, on-demand transport or school transport... The consultation covers all aspects that can improve daily bus travel. Timetables and frequency of passages, speed and punctuality of journeys, stops and places served, comfort on board and at stops, security, passenger information or payment solutions: you can share your experience and your expectations on all these subjects.
How to participate?
Until 31 December 2026, visit the Île-de-France Mobilités participation platform.
You can:
- Answer the questionnaire to share your experience of the bus;
- Propose your ideas to improve the service near you;
- Discover and comment on the proposals of other participants.
A consultation on the bus network that involves the territories
Elected officials and technical services from the Ile-de-France regions are involved in the process through dedicated workshops.
These exchanges make it possible to cross-reference the experience of travellers with knowledge of the field and the specific needs of each territory. All of these contributions will thus provide a better understanding of local expectations and feed into reflections on the evolution of the bus network in Île-de-France.
What you need to remember:
- From 5 October to 31 December 2026, Île-de-France Mobilités is consulting the inhabitants of the Ile-de-France region on the future of the bus network.
- Schedules, frequency, punctuality, comfort, safety, passenger information... Everyone can share their experience and ideas.
- The consultation concerns all bus services : regular lines, Car Express, night buses, on-demand transport and school transport.
- The contributions of passengers and territories will provide food for thought on the network's future developments.
