What should I do if my Navigo imagine R pass no longer works?

If you notice a malfunction of your Navigo imagine R pass, you can go to the following events:

  • at the carriers' sales agency, at certain RATP counters or at the Navigo SNCF Services Desk to have your Navigo imagine R pass checked. In the event of a proven malfunction, a new Navigo imagine R pass will be given to you immediately, free of charge*, on presentation of proof of identity, and in exchange for the defective Navigo imagine R pass;
    Locate the sales agencies, RATP club counters and Navigo SNCF Service Counters
  • at an RATP or Transilien SNCF ticket office. In the event of a proven malfunction, a breakdown coupon accompanied by a personalised temporary card will be given to you in exchange for the defective Navigo imagine R pass. You will then have to go to an SNCF, OPTILE or RATP sales agency, to a RATP counter or to the SNCF Navigo Services Counter where your new imagine R pass will be given to you free of charge in exchange for the breakdown coupon and the provisional card previously received.

If you are unable to travel, a third party can come with your Navigo imagine R pass, your power of attorney, a copy of your proof of identity and theirs.

* The exchange of the Navigo imagine R pass is free of charge unless it turns out that the deterioration is your fault. In this case, a non-refundable replacement fee will be applied. More details here. If your contract is debited, the fees will be automatically deducted from your bank account.
