Will the project require expropriations?

The different integration variants studied were the subject of analyses taking into account many criteria, including the impact on the land and the surrounding buildings. Although the project has been integrated into the urban space on the public and private non-built domain, the project will require land acquisitions, including on the private built domain. The various plots likely to be affected by acquisitions will be detailed during a parcel survey that will take place at the end of the preliminary project studies. The project may have to evolve at this time, in order to take into account the conclusions of the public inquiry.

At this stage, the planned land acquisitions concern the site of the new bus operational centre in Neuilly-sur-Marne, and certain sectors along the route in order to allow the insertion of the lanes dedicated to buses and the adjoining facilities.

The project owner Île-de-France Mobilités will favour an amicable acquisition approach from the owners, following negotiations. In the event of refusal by the owners, the acquisitions could be obtained by way of expropriation for reasons of public utility.
