The project
The Tzen 5 is a new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line that will connect Paris 13th to Choisy-le-Roi. With a length of 9.5 km, it will serve four municipalities: Paris, Ivry-sur-Seine, Vitry-sur-Seine and Choisy-le-Roi, with 19 stations. Much more than a bus line, the Tzen 5 is an urban transformation project at the service of the inhabitants and territories in full transformation.
Relier et simplifier les déplacements du quotidien

The Tzen 5 responds to a growing need for mobility in a sector undergoing profound transformation. With 37,000 passengers expected every day by 2035, this new reliable, fast and regular line will offer a high-performance alternative to the private car. Its route has been designed to facilitate connections with the major transport networks in the Ile-de-France region: the RER C, metro lines 14 and 15, trams T3a and T9, as well as the structuring bus lines TVM and 393.
Accompagner la dynamique des territoires

The Tzen 5 crosses and serves four major urban development operations:
- The Paris Rive Gauche ZAC (SEMAPA) in Paris
- The ZAC Ivry Confluences (SADEV 94) in Ivry-sur-Seine
- The ZAC Seine Gare Vitry and Gare Ardoines in Vitry-sur-Seine (EPA ORSA/GPA)
By strengthening the accessibility of housing, public facilities and employment areas in these new rapidly developing districts, the Tzen 5 is an essential lever for the transformation of eastern Paris and the Val-de-Marne.
Transformer l'espace public

The Tzen 5 is much more than a new transport line: it is also an urban transformation project. All along the route, the developments go beyond the creation of the dedicated site. They requalify the entire public space "from façade to façade": redesigned traffic lanes, widened and safe sidewalks, continuous cycle paths, improved pedestrian crossings, tree planting and landscaping. Transformations that will therefore benefit all the inhabitants and users of the districts crossed.
