Will Tzen 5 lead to an increase in local taxes?
Updated on
Not. The Tzen 5 is funded by the State, the European Union, the Île-de-France Region, the Val-de-Marne Department, the City of Paris and Île-de-France Mobilités, as part of multi-year programs dedicated to public facilities. These credits come from a variety of sources: national taxes, taxes, State-Region plan contracts, subsidies and European funds. Once in operation, the operation will be based on employer contributions, tariff revenues and other financing. The majority of public transport projects, such as the Tzen 5, are not directly supported by local taxpayers.
