Are park-and-ride facilities planned at certain points along the line?
Updated on
Not. The studies carried out did not highlight a specific need for park-and-ride facilities along the route. The philosophy of the project is to rebalance public space in favour of public transport and active mobility (walking, cycling), rather than increasing the use of cars. In Île-de-France, park-and-ride facilities are generally located in the outer suburbs, near RER or Transilien stations, to allow motorists coming from far away to leave their vehicles before entering a dense area. The Tzen 5 sector, located in Paris and in the inner suburbs, is already very well served by public transport.
