What nuisances are expected during the works and limitation measures put in place?
Updated on
Like any large-scale construction site, the work will generate temporary nuisances for local residents: noise, vibrations, dust, traffic disruptions, the passage of machinery and the delivery of materials.
Numerous measures will be put in place to limit the effects: use of machines that comply with standards, supervised schedules (no noisy work at night, on Sundays or public holidays with some exceptions), watering of the ground and tarpaulin of materials to contain dust. On the traffic side, the work will be carried out mainly on half carriageways, with diversion plans and safe routes for pedestrians and cyclists. Specific environmental measures will protect soil, water and biodiversity. Finally, regular information will be disseminated to local residents and a local agent will be mobilised to answer questions and point out the most sensitive phases of the work.
