Île-de-France Mobilités is setting up bus operational centres (COBs) for the storage, maintenance and cleaning of rolling stock on local lines.
The design approach of each COB aims to combine environmental and technical requirements and architectural quality. Île-de-France Mobilités systematically ensures the proper integration of this industrial structure into the territory by ensuring in particular the control of the energy consumption of the buildings, the planting of numerous trees for better thermal comfort, the creation of green roofs and optimised rainwater management.
