The stations
Three new stations, accessible to all, would be built. New access solutions have been studied and are being presented for discussion as part of the preliminary consultation.
Anticipating access to stations
The installation of the stations on the surface must combine several requirements:
- Clear, comfortable and efficient connections (on foot, by bike, bus, tram, metro or RER).
- Optimal universal accessibility for all users, including people with reduced mobility.
- An integration adapted to the wishes of the territory and the limitation of land acquisitions, in the dense and constrained urban fabric.
- Taking into account the technical constraints necessary for the completion of the work or future operation.
The main principles of the new solutions
New proposals taking into account the lessons learned from 2022 are proposed for each station.
- More sober, more discreet accesses that are better integrated into the existing urban fabric.
- Access integrated into the development projects of the district carried out by the local authorities that they would define later.
These proposals are subject to debate compared to the initial proposal made in 2022.
Les Rigollots resort
Located west of Fontenay-sous-Bois, on the border with Vincennes, the station would serve one of the busiest bus junctions in the area, which is currently not connected to the rail network. It would bring together the districts: Rigollots - Roublot - Carrières, Pasteur - Rousseau, Les Parapluies in Fontenay-sous-Bois and Diderot - Domaine du bois in Vincennes at the heart of the metropolitan network.

Station Grands Pêchers
To the south-east of Montreuil, the station would serve the Bel Air and Grands Pêchers districts, which are currently far from the metro, the RER and the future T1, which are partly classified as priority districts. It would quickly connect it to Val de Fontenay in one direction and to Paris in the other direction and therefore to the entire Ile-de-France network.

Val-de-Fontenay resort
Located on the Peripole of Fontenay-sous-Bois, the Val de Fontenay station would be the terminus of the extension. It would fit directly into the rapidly changing urban hub and station hub, with numerous connections: RER A and E, future metro lines 15, the extended T1 tramway and the Bus Bords de Marne with a high level of service.
Two new proposals for the insertion of access to metro station 1 are presented to the consultation. Its main challenges are:
- the quality of correspondence,
- accessibility to the platforms for users with reduced mobility.
Val de Fontenay would be by far the busiest station of the extension, with around 6,000 passengers during the morning rush hour, nearly 40% of whom would connect to a railway line (in particular metro 15, RER A or RER E). This is what gives the project this double benefit: to serve locally the neighborhoods it crosses, and to encourage travel from suburb to suburb in the east of Paris.
