Why did you resume the studies for this project?

In 2022, the public inquiry did not lead to the project being declared of public utility, but the State recognized its general interest and asked the project owners to deepen the studies, particularly on the environment. After the vote to finance this new phase in December 2024 by the State, the Île-de-France Region and the Board of Directors of Île-de-France Mobilités, studies resumed in 2025 to develop the project. The project submitted for consultation is no longer that of 2022: new integration variants according to the Avoid-Reduce-Compensate approach (reduced footprint in the wood, fewer trees concerned, etc.). New socio-economic and environmental assessments of the modified project will be carried out at the end of the 2026 preliminary consultation, if the project continues. They will be drawn up according to the recommendations made by the General Secretariat for Investment (SGPI) and the Environmental Authority (AE), which will again rule on a new initial public interest inquiry file, before the public inquiry.
