This committee of independent experts, created on the initiative of the President of Île-de-France Mobilités in 2016, is responsible for assessing the scope and impact of the measures implemented by Île-de-France Mobilités.
Knowing the travel habits of Ile-de-France residents today is essential to offer transport that meets their expectations in the future. This is what the Global Transport Survey allows.
We have developed a tool for forecasting travel in the Île-de-France region and for the use of road and public transport networks. It is used for studies of public transport projects and travel policies carried out by Île-de-France Mobilités (formerly STIF).
The Île-de-France Mobility Plan, approved by the Regional Council on 24 September 2025, is the reference document for mobility planning throughout the Île-de-France region.
This document sets the framework for all mobility policies in the region by 2030. It succeeds the Île-de-France Urban Travel Plan (PDUIF), which held this role for the period 2010-2020.
It covers all modes of travel for people (public transport, walking, cycling, car) and goods (river, rail, road). It proposes a coherent organisation of these different modes in order to meet the challenges of more efficient and sustainable mobility, while guaranteeing accessibility to all and promoting behavioural changes.
We are conducting studies on high-stakes areas in the region in order to identify the needs for new public transport infrastructure.
The striking feature of the implementation of the validation data information system (SIDV) for Île-de-France Mobilités is the very considerable volume of data flows to be managed: there are, on a day of full traffic, about 10 million validations and around 2.5 billion validations over a year.
