Leo XIV: how to get to the celebrations?
Pope Leo XIV will be present for two days in Paris, at the Stade de France and then between the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Élysées. Both of these sites can be reached by public transport and then on foot from the nearest stations.
Here are the stations that will allow you to get there:
1. Friday 25/09 for the vigil at the Stade de France
- Saint-Denis - Pleyel : Metro 14 > preferred
- Saint-Denis - Porte de Paris : Metro 13
- La Plaine Stade de France : RER B
- Stade de France - Saint-Denis : RER D
2. Saturday 26/09 for Mass at Place de la Concorde and on the Champs-Élysées

Please note: traffic will be interrupted on line 6 between Charles-de-Gaulle–Étoile and Kléber on the evening of Friday 25 September, then between Charles-de-Gaulle–Étoile and Trocadéro on Saturday 26 September. The Saint-Michel station (line 4) has already been closed since 14 September and until 19 December for modernisation work.

In order to accompany the thousands of faithful and visitors expected in Paris during these two days, reinforcements are planned on the transport network. On Friday evening, the offer will be reinforced to facilitate travel from the Stade de France, where 80,000 people are expected for the vigil. On Saturday, the metros will be reinforced during the day to accompany the influx of passengers to the solemn mass in the open air.
