What are the new variants being studied?

Published on

The studies have made it possible to identify new variants that will be debated during the consultation. Conducted according to the "avoid, reduce, compensate" approach, they fully integrate the environment and are the result of research to:

- To reduce the effects of the work as much as possible, particularly on the Bois de Vincennes and the trees.

- Protect biodiversity and limit inconvenience for local residents (noise, traffic, visual presence).

- For residual impacts, implement an ambitious ecological and forest compensation strategy.

- Support local companies likely to be affected by the works to maintain and relocate their activities.

- Deepen geotechnical and hydrogeological studies.

Here are the variants studied:

- 3 variants are proposed for the insertion on the edge of the Bois de Vincennes and the connection to the existing line. You can discover them here.

- 3 variants are proposed for the location of the rear station and the train breakdown centre. You can discover them here.

- Alternative principles are proposed for the insertion of the accesses to the three resorts (Les Rigollots, Grands Pêchers and Val de Fontenay). You can discover them here.
