Which ticket should you choose and where can you buy it? Here is a short guide if you are staying for a weekend, a few days, or a week in Paris and its region.

For a day in Paris and its region

Ticket t+ is ideal for a (very) small number of journeys.

The t+ ticket is for a single journey lasting a maximum of 90 minutes from the first to last validation, by metro and RER (in Paris, not the suburbs) and by bus and tram (throughout the Île-de-France region).

Where and how can I buy it?

  • On the Île-de-France Mobilités app (Android only, coming soon to the Apple Store),
  • Loaded onto a Navigo Easy pass from a ticket machine or ticket office at the station,
  • A paper ticket from a ticket machine or ticket office at the station.

Navigo Day Ticket unlimited travel for a day

Are you coming to Île-de-France and planning to use public transport for a whole day?

The Navigo Day Ticket gives you unlimited travel for a whole day on all modes of transport* and in the zones you choose (from 1 to 5, from central Paris to the entire Île-de-France region).

From €8.45 per day and depending on where you travel, choose the Navigo Day Tciket that best suits you.

*except Orlyval and tourist buses.

For a stay of less than a week

Paris Visite pass, your partner for 1 to 5 days

The Paris Visite pass is a paper ticket in your name giving you unlimited access to zones 1 to 3 (Paris and its vicinity) or 1 to 5 (the whole region) for 1, 2, 3 or 5 consecutive days.

In addition, the pass gives to special offers at various tourist locations in the region!

  • From a ticket machine or ticket office at the station

For a week or more

Navigo Weekly Pass, one week of unlimited travel

The Navigo Weekly Ticket gives you unlimited travel for a whole week on all modes of transport*, without worrying about additional costs or tickets! Like the Navigo Day Ticket, you choose the zones (from 1 to 5, from central Paris to the entire Ile-de-France region).

Where and how to buy it?

  • On the Île-de-France Mobilités app (Android only, coming soon to the Apple Store),
  • Loaded onto a Navigo Easy or Navigo Découverte pass from a ticket machine or ticket office

For a weekend (if you are under 26)

Navigo Jeune Weekend the perfect pass to discover the Île-de-France region

Have you got a free weekend and want to visit Paris and its region?

If you are under 26, the Navigo Jeune Weekend pass is just what you need.

From €4.60 a day, it gives you unlimited travel for a whole day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (choose zones 1 to 3, 3 to 5 or 1 to 5).

  • Loaded onto a Navigo Découverte pass from a ticket machine or ticket office or on the Île-de-France Mobilités app.

To or from the airport

For Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly airport there are various options by public transport!

To buy or validate your tickets, just use your phone!

With the Île-de-France Mobilités mobile app on your phone you can:

  • validate your ticket directly on the bus, train, tram, RER or metro (Android only).*
