Do I need a t+ ticket or an origin-destination ticket?
Do you have a trip to make and want to know which ticket you need?
Since March 2025, t+ Tickets and Origin - Destination Tickets are no longer sold in a majority of stations and stations in the Ile-de-France region, nor are they sold on any application.
Since 1 January 2025, two tickets have been offered and replace all the others.
- Are you taking the train, RER or metro? A trip will now cost you €2.50, regardless of your destination, even if you go to the other end of the Île-de-France with the Metro-Train-RER Ticket
- Are you taking the bus or tram? Your journey will be charged €2, regardless of your destination with the Bus-Tram Ticket
- If you have t+ tickets left on your phone, your Easy Pass or Origin/Destination tickets in your pocket, they remain valid until 31 December 2025.
In short
- Use your t+ tickets still valid for travel by metro, bus, tram, or RER within Paris.
- Use your cardboard Origin-Destination tickets that are still valid for RER or train journeys that involve travel between different cities or beyond zones 1-2.
- To buy new tickets, go to your Ile-de-France Mobilités app or partner app to choose between Metro-Train-RER Ticket or Bus-Tram Ticket
